Foreign Language Competence in Schools: European Standards – Language Tests – Intercultural Communication
Three resolutions passed by the German Ministers of Education from 2002 to 2004 required all German federal states to define language competence in schools at all levels and in all school types using the descriptions in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
elc provides training for schoolteachers, freelancers and test writers to enable this process to take place. elc also provides experts for the evaluation of central tests used in schools and for school-leaving exams at all levels and for all school forms.
